1) Dakatia river

Dakatia river is located in Manoharganj upazila of Comilla district. The river joins the Meghna river through Manoharganj upazila. During the dry season, the chars wake up in different parts of the river. On the other hand, during the monsoon season, the river overflows its banks. During the monsoon season, innumerable boats including launches, steamers and trawlers flow over the Dakatiya river in this upazila.

2) Sharifpur Mosque

Bara Sharifpur Mosque is a historical mosque located in Manoharganj upazila in Comilla district of Bangladesh. It is a Mughal mosque located in Bangladesh. According to the inscriptions of the mosque, the mosque was built by Muhammad Hayat Abd Karim in 1608-1707. According to tradition, the builder was a Kotwal of the area. Hence it is known as Kotwali Mosque. The mosque has been preserved as a protected structure since 1959. The mosque was renovated in the 1980s. Later, the Bangladesh Department of Archeology carried out further reforms.

The shape of the mosque is rectangular. On the east side there are three arched doors of which the central door is relatively large. There are three mihrabs on the west wall opposite the doors. In this case also the central mihrab is relatively larger than the other two mihrabs. The mosque has four large octagonal minarets at the four corners. There are also two octagonal minarets above the central large entrance. The number of domes is three. The central dome is relatively large. The inner part of the dome is decorated with leaf designs. In addition, the outer part of the cycle work.
