Rivers

The notable river of Manoharganj upazila is Dakatiya river. The upazila is situated on the banks of the river Dakatiya. A dam has been constructed by the Water Development Board at one end of the river near the upazila. At one time this river was the main means of communication in Manoharganj upazila. Even today, goods are transported from one place to another through this river on a limited scale. At present agriculture is done by the water of this river. In addition, a lot of fish are found in this river.
